The Sea Thai restaurant in Wallingford is run by Renoo Ramstad. Her cooking style is the foundation upon which the restaurant is based and she carefully trains her cooks so that even when she is not in the kitchen herself, you are tasting dishes as she specifies them.
In Thailand Renoo's regular job did not involve cooking, but on her days off she chose to prepare dishes to sell from a lunch cart. After moving to the United States she worked in several Thai restaurants. She really enjoyed cooking, but often found it frustrating to not be the one in control of picking out the quality of ingredients that she wanted and preparing a menu of the dishes that she wanted people to experience. She discovered the solution to this frustration by running her own restaurant. Her attention goes into each detail. Whether you love Thai food and are just trying out a new restaurant, or it is the first time you have sampled dishes from Thailand, she does her best to ensure that you will soon be sitting down for your next meal from her kitchen.
The menu contains a variety of appetizers, soups, salads and entrees. Spicey foods can make beverages popular, and beer and wine is served as well as soft drinks and iced and hot coffee and tea. If you don't enjoy spicey cooking though, just avoid the * items on the menu and ask that it be prepared with "no stars" very mild. Each day features different dessert items. Weekday lunch specials are available.

Delivery times depend on distance, traffic conditions and kitchen load. Ask for a time estimate.
Pre-arranged large orders for special events can be delivered outside of regular delivery hours in some cases. Please call us to discuss special events.
