KHAO TOM MUD 3.00
Sweet sticky rice & black beans stuffed with Taro or Banana, wrapped in banana leaf.
If it were hot and humid in Seattle, and you had this, you would think you were in a village in Thailand.

 

Please Note

We make all the above desserts ourselves, even the ice cream.
Some desserts have seasonal limitations and are not always available.
Also, sometimes we run out of time to make everything.
If you are adventurous, ask the waitperson if there are any other desserts
in the kitchen that Renoo has made for herself or for special orders. 

Mutant Coconut

In nature 1 or 2 % of coconut trees produce a coconut that has neither meat nor fluid in the shell. 
Instead a gelatinous material forms that inhibits the reproductive activity of the coconut. 
This rare product is highly prized by local population around the world. 
Renoo has made our coconut ice cream with mutant coconut for the last 7 years.
In the Philippines it is referred to as macapuno.
In Thai it is mapraow because it is more like young coconut meat but a stronger flavor.
